Intelligent Board Level Cameras for OEM Applications
Basis for the ARM-based board cameras of the VCSBC nano Z series is the ZYNQ® module, a Dual Core ARM CortexTM-A9 module with 2 x 866 MHz and integrated FPGA from Xilinx®.
As with all VC Smart Cameras, these processors provide the necessary computing capacity to achieve VC standards: Extreme high-speed in real-time.
The ARM/Linux Smart Cameras are ideally suited for use in industry, but, of course, also for other applications.
The operating system VC Linux takes care of hard- and software interaction. And, last but not least, the Z models provide a special feature: On request, the FPGA CAN BE PROGRAMMED to achieve a considerable speed boost. With that, the image processing can be executed up to twenty times faster than without FPGA support.


Board Level Cameras with freely programmable FPGA
The ARM-based board camera series follow the proved and tested quality of Vision Components: Thanks to the engaged processors the small power packs provide for top performance. The VCSBC nano Z series Smart Cameras come with a Dual Core Cortex-A9 .
Like all VC Smart Camera models sensors from well-known manufacturers are included.
As an extra feature of VC Z series, the FPGA module, Xilinx's ZYNQ SoC, is FREELY PROGRAMMABLE and thus able to boost the system's performance ernormously. This service is especially addressed to our OEM customers and guarantees for maximizing the hardware performance.

Upgrade your IP cam: Q-Board turns IP cameras into smart cameras for ITS applications
The new VC Q-Board is a "System on Module" which can be used flexibly for any application - even without sensors.
Equipped with several standard interfaces, the Q-Board provides for ideal and fast communication. Already installed IP camera systems can be transformed into Smart Systems, for example. The integrated freely programmable SoC from Xilinx provides for that.
